For most of her long life Floy Morway, begged, borrowed, saved, and even stole cats to save them from abuse, abandonment, and worse. Over 40 years ago she founded Adopt-a-Cat, an organization which has now saved thousands of feline lives as one of the all-too-few refuges in the USA with a no-kill policy.

Floy Morway was born in Canada and has lived in Concord, MA since 1982. The organization she founded, now called Adopt-a-Cat of Concord, still continues to save and re-home felines. For her years of selfless dedication to animals the New England Anti-Vivisection Society awarded her their Reverence for Life Award.
